TPR® - Outbuildings Shed

Affresol Ltd have developed a range of environmentally friendly, sustainable, low carbon, prefabricated outbuildings that are very durable, flexible and affordable.

The Walling System for our outbuildings is made from TPR® which is a “thermo set polymer” produced from a cold process that takes recycled waste inert minerals and mixed plastic waste products that have been diverted from landfill. These waste materials are processed to produce a mouldable compound which when cured, is as strong as concrete, but 30% lighter.

TPR® is waterproof, does not rot, is not susceptible to insect infestation, is fire retardant, does not leech any harmful elements and at end of life is 100% recyclable. About half a tonne of waste material is used in a typical Affresol Outbuilding.

The embodied energy in a typical Affresol outbuilding is significantly less than competitor's buildings.

Each TPR® outbuilding is delivered with a standard (low maintenance) pebble-dash type finish, but buildings can also be finished in a range of painted colours or even render (site applied).

Every TPR® outbuilding is manufactured to a set of strict quality controls within the Affresol ISO9001 quality controlled factory premises.

Our outbuildings have been designed to meet the requirements laid out in the Decent Homes Standards (England), the Scottish Housing Quality Standard and the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.

Our TPR® - Outbuildings are currently being assessed for Secured by Design accreditation.
